An unusual record detailing the activities of the commission responsible for maintaining the drainage within the four fen parishes of Wiggenhall. The whole is either translated in full or summarised in English. With a calendar of the memorandum book of the common clerk of Bishop’s (later King’s) Lynn in the early 15th century, at a time when the prosperity of the local mercantile class and the borough government were under pressure.
