The Records of a Commission of Sewers for Wiggenhall, 1319-1324;

An unusual record detailing the activities of the commission responsible for maintaining the drainage within the four fen parishes of Wiggenhall.  The whole is either translated in full or summaried in English.  With a calendar ofthe memorandum book fo the common clerk of Bishop’s (later King’s) Lynn in the early 15th century, at a time when the prosperity ofthe local mercantile class and the borough goverment were under pressure.
