These are the proceedings of the ruling body of Norwich Cathedral from the time of the Elizabethan Settlement until cathedral jurisdiction was abolished under the Commonwealth. The maintenance of buildings, estate management, the conduct of services and control of staff , especially the recalcitrant singing men, are recorded.
