Membership Application Form

Please complete the form below to apply for membership. Before you complete the membership application form, please ensure you have read the details of our different membership categories, to ensure you are applying for the right type of membership. We operate a two stage membership application process. As detailed below.

  1. You complete the online membership form (below).
  2. We will then contact you by email once we have received your application and provide details of how you can pay for your membership via your preferred payment method.

Please note: Your membership doesn’t become active until cleared payment has been received by the society. You will receive a final confirmation email once your membership has become active.

Membership runs from 1st January to 31st December.

How to Pay

Gift Aid Declaration
I want to Gift Aid my membership payments and/or any donations I make in the future or have made in the last 4 years to Norfolk Record Society. I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my contributions to charity in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference.

Your Privacy:

We will process your personal data on a contract basis, as the purchase of membership sets up a contract between the Norfolk Record Society and you. Your personal data will be used by us to comply with obligations under that contact. We will also process your data on the basis of our legitimate interest to send you communications which we believe are beneficial to you and the Society. These will keep you informed about, and promote, the exclusive Membership events programme and wider benefits that Membership brings.  You can opt out at any time by contacting the Hon. Treasurer.

We will only share your personal data for the purposes we set out above, and any third party involved in the delivery of the contract. for example Royal Mail for the delivery of letters and our annual publication.

Our default method of communication with members‘ is by email this includes our e-bulletins and AGM notifications.
