Description
A register kept by the Bishop of Norwich’s secretary between 1602 and 1617 of documents likely to be used in diocesan administration from the Reformation period onwards. Surveys of the clergy in Norfolk and Suffolk and their qualification are of special interest.
Condition Statement: This book is “as new” allowing for the normal effects of time on an unused book. This copy may contain some age-related wear, marks, discolouration, foxing or spotting. The society’s dark red cloth gilt boards may contain small bruises or rubbing.
